Using the book “Sir Cumference and the Viking’s Map”, students will work through three lessons that demonstrate different aspects of microelectronics by integrating math, English language arts, and social studies.  

  • Core Content: Integrated Curriculum: Mathematics English Language Arts, and Social Studies

  • Grade Level: Grade 5

  • ME Connection: circuits; programming microcontrollers; programmable robot

  • Engineering Design Project: Create an interactive poster presentation that connects navigation across human exploration with microelectronics today.
