Megan Riley is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in the classroom. A native of Loogootee, she graduated from Loogootee High School in 2005 before pursuing her passion for education at the University of Southern Indiana (USI). Since graduating from USI in 2010, Megan has been a staple of the Washington Community Schools faculty, where she has spent her entire professional career inspiring students.

Throughout her tenure, Megan has maintained a profound interest in STEM education, constantly seeking ways to bring innovative concepts to her students. This passion led her to pursue specialized knowledge in the cutting-edge fields of electronics and microelectronics. Her commitment to professional growth and excellence in STEM was recently recognized with her selection as a Microelectronics Master Teacher Fellow through the National Science Foundation’s Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program.

Beyond her professional achievements, Megan is a devoted mother of two children, Lawson (9) and Lucy (4). She has been happily married to her husband, Brian, for 10 years. Megan is thrilled to bring her expertise in microelectronics back to her community and looks forward to the opportunities this fellowship will provide for her students at Washington Community Schools.
