Sarah Knepp teaches fifth grade at Loogootee Middle School in Loogootee, Indiana. She is a graduate of Loogootee High School’s Class of 2005. Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oakland City University in 2008 and then returned to her hometown to serve the same community that helped shape her. In 2024, she completed her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
Sarah is committed to expanding meaningful learning opportunities for students in the Loogootee community. With 17 years of classroom experience, she focuses on helping students grow academically while also building confidence in themselves. She continually seeks new ways to improve her practice and adapt to the evolving needs of her students. By integrating real-world technology connections into her classroom, Sarah aims to prepare students for future STEM pathways while helping them understand how microelectronics play a role in everyday life and the local community. Her dedication to education, combined with her strong ties to Loogootee, reflects her passion for making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of the students she teaches.
